What have we been up to? Success stories!

In Cheshire Streetwise, we aim to prepare people for going back to work. Here are some of the things we have been doing. Gary Kinsella has been taking Learn My Way qualifications with us and achieved online certificates. He has now found a part-time job and we are delighted for him Phil Critchlow has also been doing this and we had some competition for who got the most certificates!

We also celebrated VE day with East Cheshire Council with a Tea Dance. We had sandwiches, cakes, scones with jam and cream and, of course, pots of tea.

Our surprise visitor with the camera is Ken Livesey, who used to be a press photographer with a local national paper. he used his press camera from the war time to take a picture of us all at the party.

We loved everyone coming along, having a dance followed by afternoon tea. It was a great afternoon with war time music arranged by david taylor, our music meister.
